How to get to Chamba

Located in the northern part of India, this small town offers plenty of opportunities for adventure. From trekking in the mountains to visiting ancient temples and experiencing local culture, Chamba has something for everyone. But how do you get there? Read on and we’ll tell you.

The quickest and most convenient way to get to Chamba is by airplane. There are two airports that serve the region; one in Delhi and one in Chandigarh. From either airport, it’s an easy trip down National Highway 503A or NH 503B and right into Chamba town center. It’s a scenic journey, with plenty of opportunity to stop along the way and explore some of India’s smaller villages or take pictures at breathtaking viewpoints.

Another option is taking a train from Delhi or Chandigarh up north towards Pathankot station. Depending on your destination, there are numerous stops along this route that can help you get closer to your destination faster than if you took the highway all the way up from Delhi (or Chandigarh). Once at Pathankot station, you can hop on a bus direct to Chamba town center or catch another train further south towards Kangra Valley station where there are taxis available for hire.

If you’re feeling particularly adventurous (and don’t mind having lots of time on your hands), then driving is always an option! You’ll be able to see more sights along the way while enjoying some peace and quiet away from civilization. Keep in mind that it will take around 8-10 hours depending on traffic conditions and road works.

What to do when you’re there

Whether it’s a work issue or personal problem, here are some things to keep in mind when life hands you Chamba.

Make a Plan

When life gives you lemons make lemonade—or in this case, make a plan! Taking control of your situation by making a plan of action is an effective way to tackle your problems head-on. This could range from writing out steps to address a work issue or creating a budget for an unexpected expense. Making a plan will help you stay focused on what needs to be done and manage your time more effectively.

Stay Positive

It’s easy to get overwhelmed by negative thoughts when faced with challenging situations. However, it’s important to remember that staying positive is essential for dealing with difficult times. Take time each day to focus on what makes you happy and practice positive self-talk. It may sound cliche but having an optimistic outlook can go a long way in helping you cope with stressful situations.

Focus On What You Can Control

Sometimes circumstances arise that are beyond our control—like getting laid off from work or being hit by unexpected bills. In these cases it’s best not to dwell on the uncontrollable factors and instead focus on what you can do next. Look for job opportunities, seek financial advice from trusted sources and make sure your voice is heard if necessary! There may be no silver lining in sight but at least try to spot any potential opportunity in the midst of chaos!
